Union Foundry dona propiedad

Union Foundry is proud to have the opportunity to donate a parcel of land, approximately 3.1 acres, to Mount Liberty Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama. It was a wonderful day of fellowship and celebration for the entire congregation when Kent Brown and Sonny Conaway presented the deed to the property to Mount Liberty's Pastor, Dr. Walter J. Turner, Jr.

The church has plans to continue paying it forward in the community by building a recreational area. The team at Union Foundry is very proud to have the opportunity to support the Anniston community which was hit hard when the U. S. Army closed Ft. McClellan. During World War II, Ft. McClellan was one of the largest U.S. Army installations, training an estimated half million troops. When it closed in 1999, Fort McClellan was home for approximately 10,000 military personnel, half of whom were permanently assigned. They also employed about 1,500 civilians.

At McWane we take pride in supporting the communities where our team members live and work.
