Edward Roberts, Gerente de TI de Tyler Union en Anniston, Alabama, ha entrenado al equipo de baloncesto Upward Bound de su hija Addison durante los últimos tres años.
Upward Bound Basketball, part of Parker Memorial Baptist Church’s Sports Ministry, focuses on teaching the word of Christ to children and how it relates to their lives and to their family life. Edward said they work on the fundamentals of basketball such as dribbling, passing, shooting, being competitive and not being a sore loser. The children learn a new bible verse at practice and if they remember it they get a green star for their jersey.
