The team at Pacific States was proud to have the opportunity to provide a plant tour for Alvin Chan, Tax Policy Counsel for Senator Orrin Hatch last week.  These tours are important because they give us an opportunity to demonstrate to lawmakers in Washington, DC the critical role McWane plays in providing clean drinking water to the nation.

McWane’s products make up the backbone of vital water distribution and wastewater treatment systems throughout North America. Many of McWane’s competitors have moved their manufacturing overseas or elected to import their foreign products at the expense of American jobs and to avoid U.S. environmental and workplace health and safety standards. McWane, however, remains committed to American industry and has invested hundreds of millions of dollars to modernize its U.S. plants and make them safe, efficient and compliant, thus preserving thousands of well-paying American jobs and the futures of many communities.
